Portfolio

Each of the four pieces I created for my portfolio using adobe photoshop, aim to depict Black women and their prominent features - such as their hair - being connected to different aspects of nature. Nature is limitless. Nature is ubiquitous. Nature is unapologetic. And most of all, Nature is divine. Too often, in the society that we live in, Black women's looks are degraded and their features - particularly their hair - are not seen as beautiful. In blending nature and Black women, I hope to exhibit Black women as divine feminine and powerful.
